The CRDS Fat Tape Vol 23 and Adagio EP

Ayoooo I want to wish a very Happy New Year to all of my readers and subscribers of this blog and my CRDS Radio page, I wish I could do more at my blog but I don't have a great deal of time so please bear that in mind for a lack of posts lately.

I sense that this year is going to be a pretty great one and I am excited about the fact that we get to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of so many classic Hip Hop album releases
ReadyTo Die, Illmatic, Stress: The Extinction Agenda, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, 6 Feet Deep, Super Tight, Dare Iz A Darkside, A Constipated Monkey, Hard To Earn, The Most Beautifullest...Ill Communication, Resurrection, The Main Ingredient, Boxcar Sessions, The Beatnuts, Word...Life, The Dairy, Between a Rock and a Hard Place, Blowout Comb, Regulate...G Funk Era, Breakin' Combs, Ahmad, Fear Itself, No Mercy, Everything Is Everything,The Sun Rises In The East, Tical, Like it Should Be, Lost In Brooklyn etc etc

Phew just those listed albums should spell out exactly how incredible 1994 truly was!

I will be dropping various compilations of dope 94 ish (and not just Hip Hop ones) that you might have missed or known by heart and of course I'll document the year ('94) over the year and I'll continue with the monthly Kibbles and Bits video section and the compilations if that is all good with you? ;)

I also wanted to give a special shout out to the Heavy Jewelz Records Records crew who keep releasing pure gems on their ill label and next up is raw material from the slept on and somewhat elusive (I have never once seen a photo of this crew. but Verge said he might see if he can get me one lol) Adagio (Big Cousin and Reign Supreme)...

All the info on the Obvious Archives EP and where to order is listed out in the video below...

(Butt) in the meantime check out the latest CRDS Fat Tape, which is a mix of old and new...like we always do about this time...
