Yo....these Funk Lord Comps are on point! Erick Sermon is a very slept on producer/artist these days and it's great to see somebody giving this dude the light he deserves. E-Double been comin' with the funk tracks since the EPMD days. BTW, EPMD was the very 1st guest of Chris Thomas on "Rap City" way before Tigga's momma said he could use the basement!!! They was chillin' with Chris sittin' on some park benches. Anyway, great job on this ish!!

Thank You for the kind words bhm225...It's mad appreciated, one of the reasons I did these comps is to celebrate EPMD's 20 years in the game this year...and to give E some light on his production skills in case some kids don't know about the great Man.

I would love to see that Rap City vid, off I go searching on the ol You Tube.

Yo Jaz,

saw it a while ago that you got Stezo in a mixtape but didnt found a link...

Would you hit me up with the two tracks please? (ralven@hotmail.de) Would be really great man. Have Time To Blow Your Mind on an old mixtape and the quality is after the years real crappy. Is the second track such a bomb as well?

pz, Ralven

Hey man. J.J. from Trilogy Records here. I am friends with Mikkie Dee and Kirk Harding. Sorry to hit you in the comment section. Mikki only gave me your blog url, not your email.

Anyway, my artist, Doujah Raze, just releases a record in NZ and Australia through Shock, so we are trying to do what we can on this end to help with the promo.

We would love to get some coverage in your blog (very dope by the way) if possible. Let me know if you have any ideas. I'm pretty sure the promo guys from Shock have been in touch with you, but if you need a copy of the album, let me know and I will make sure you get a copy.

Also, I work alot of quality independent hip hop records to radio here in the U.S. You can check out and download our current projects at www.foundation-media.com/current.html. We are building an mp3 email list so we can make sure to get the music to internationally based DJs. Our clients don't always have the budget for us to send wax over to you guys, but we still want to make the music available to you, so the mp3 is a nice alternative.
Would you like us to add you to our list? If so, what email address? Don't worry we won't be spamming you with mp3s. We only send out 2-3 a month. Let me know.

Holla if there is anything you need on this end. Thanks.

JJ

Hey Jaz,
Thanks for the Erick Sermon post. I am enjoying your mix tapes alot. The TDK and Adagio were really good, still bobbing my head to those ones.
I like these mix tapes because you hear artists/songs that you otherwise might not if you were looking for entire albums.
Peace bro,
Blacktop
